Scientific thinking is a life skill that is becoming essential for creativity and successfully pursuing seemingly unattainable goals, particularly for organisations who want to create learning, systematic improvement and innovation.

Now it's time for the first KataCon in Europe, where you can connect and learn — together — with the rapidly growing world of Improvement Kata and Coaching Kata practitioners in Europe.

The Improvement Kata and Coaching Kata turn scientific thinking into a practical skill anyone can practice and learn.

Speaker lineup updated

Carl Wieman

We are happy to announce that Prof. Carl Wieman will join us as one of the speakers. He will do a video presentation and a moderated Q & A session.

Prof. Wieman is a Nobel prize winner and professor of Physics and Education at Stanford University. In recent years he has focused on how we teach and learn science.

He has lead “Science Education Initiative”, a major research program across thirteen science departments at two universities, that shows the effects on learning when the best research-based approaches are being used. You will see that the similarities to efforts to generate more scientific thinking in the business world are remarkable.
